Premier League Matchday 25 Top Predictions & Betting Tips
Another big weekend in the Premier League is here, and Matchday 5 brings some tasty spots for bettors. We’re looking at three key games with value on goals, cards and key players.
Let’s analyze our top picks for this weekend’s Premier League action.
Manchester United vs Tottenham
Michael Carrick’s Manchester United are flying right now. Three league wins in a row and all of them earned the hard way. They beat Fulham 3–2 at home, shocked Arsenal away with a 3–2 win, and then topped it off by beating rivals Manchester City 2–0. That City win says a lot.
Cunha, Bruno Fernandes and Mbeumo have all been heavily involved, either scoring or assisting in every one of those victories. United look confident, sharp going forward and strong in big moments.
Tottenham, on the other hand, are struggling in the league. They did show character with a 2–2 comeback draw against City, but the bigger picture is worrying – six Premier League games without a win. Champions League form has been much better, but domestically they keep leaving gaps.
This feels like an open game. Spurs will attack, United are in form, and goals should come. The big question is whether United can keep the winning run going, but for bettors the goal markets look safest.
Bets to consider:

Wolves vs Chelsea
Wolves are in deep trouble. Bottom of the table, just one win from 24 league games, and they haven’t scored in their last three matches. The latest was a flat 0–2 loss to Bournemouth, and confidence looks very low.
Chelsea arrive with momentum. Three wins in a row and sitting 5th, only a point behind 4th-placed United. With top four firmly in sight, this is the kind of game Chelsea need to win, and usually do.
Wolves may try to be physical and slow the game down, which could lead to cards, but it’s hard to see them stopping Chelsea over 90 minutes.

Burnley vs West Ham
A real relegation scrap here. Both sides are inside the drop zone and every point matters.
West Ham had their two-game winning run snapped by a dramatic 3–2 loss to Chelsea, but the performance showed fight. They know survival is still possible and will be desperate to bounce back.
Burnley are winless in their last 16 Premier League games, which tells its own story. Still, they’ve been stubborn at home, avoiding defeat in their last three at Turf Moor.
This could be tight, but West Ham look the more driven side right now, especially with players like Jarrod Bowen capable of making the difference.
Bets to consider:
-
Draw or West Ham
-
