Colombia got exactly the start they wanted with a convincing 3-1 win over Uzbekistan. Their attacking quality was on full display, and with three points already secured, another victory here would put them in a commanding position to reach the knockout stages.

DR Congo, meanwhile, produced one of the surprises of the opening round by holding Portugal to a 1-1 draw. That result will give them plenty of confidence, and they have shown they possess enough attacking talent to trouble stronger opponents. Another upset is certainly not out of the question.
