Portugal finish their World Cup preparations with another strong test against an in-form Nigerian side, but they remain deserved favorites.

Portugal have looked solid in recent matches, beating Chile and the USA while keeping clean sheets in both games. Even without Rafael Leão, who is unavailable after his red card against Chile, they still possess enormous attacking quality throughout the squad.

Nigeria also arrive in good form, unbeaten in their last five matches and scoring regularly. However, they have not faced many teams with Portugal’s overall quality and depth.

The previous meeting ended in a convincing 4-0 Portugal victory before the 2022 World Cup. While Nigeria are stronger than that result suggests, Portugal should still control possession and create the better chances.
